General Info
The series will be comprised of all 16 fall races in the Southern Ontario series. Starting with Cowbell Cross on September 13, to King's Mill on November 30, and everything in between. Will anyone complete the challenge of starting all 16 races?
Official race count will be kept by Briana, updated as often as possible. If there are discrepancies between official records and your actual participation, please let Briana know. This is especially important if you have upgraded or otherwise changed categories or numbers.
Final distribution of awards will be contingent on availability of prizes. The current structure is:
- Full series participation
- Most starts in 10am races
- Most starts in 11.30am races
- Most starts in 1pm races
Where multiple riders have started the same number of races, prizes will be drawn from that pool.
Where a rider has changed categories, the rider will be counted for their start time at the end of the season, but will take all starts from previous races to the new category. Which is to say, if you've upgraded to M2 from M3, you will be eligible for "most starts at 11.30" and you will be able to count your starts as an M3 as part of your total.
Prizes will be drawn and awarded at the King's Mill race on November 30. You must be present to accept your prize!
All subject to change at any time.

Congratulations to Aly Armstrong (St Catharine's Cycling Club) and Jonathan Wilby (Independent) - each has participated in 10 races, and are leading the standings. There are, however, a number of people trailing with 9 race starts each... with 5 races left this season, anything is possible!

November 29
Penultimate results, up to Race 15, Provincial Championships at Riverdale Park.
At this stage, Aly Armstrong (St Catharine's Cycling Club) has a virtual lock on this one - with 14 races under her belt, no one has been able to match her dedication this season!
There are still plenty of great prizes available, and the goodies will at least be spread out among committed participants across all three starts. Should Aly fail to show at Subway Cross, the competition remains tight. Phil Harper (Newmarket Eagles), Philip Robinson (Hub Bicycle Club), Tony Whetham (Impala Cycles), Mark Pagell (cyclocrossontario.com) and Jonathan Wilby (Independent) each have 13 apiece, and would be more than happy to take top honours.

December 30
Final results are finally posted.
This season's most consistent participant was Aly Armstrong, who easily took the crown ahead of the boys, with 15 of 16 races done. Congratulations are in order, however, for everyone who came out and raced. Giving Aly a run for the top prize were Phil Harper, Mark Pagell, Anthony Whetham, Philip Robinson and Jonathan Wilby, who each made it out to 14 races - one of these guys admitted to racing through illness, no doubt in an effort to claim top honours!
There are lots (lots) of prizes, and I unfortunately lack the time and means to distribute them to all deserving participants immediately. I will hand out remaining donated prizes on a first-come, first-served basis until I run out - if you did 12 or more races, and did not receive a prize yet, please see me at the next race! Individuals and local shops were incredibly generous in supporting this project, so I want to spread the love to those who came out to race.
This was a really great season, with over 560 people participating in at least one race. Most races had over 100 athletes, with the UCI races, Provincials, Kingston and Turkey Cross each drawing 150 or more. We should all be proud of how much 'cross continues to grow in Ontario. Caveat: Unofficial, may contain human error.

Results are finally up to
Results are finally up to date. Please, please, please check that it is accurate for you, and (kindly) let me know if your participation number needs to be corrected. Between the volume of racers, and people upgrading or downgrading mid-way through the season, I am bound to have made a few mistakes.
Of interest: By my count, just under 500 people have participated in at least one Southern Ontario race.

It's true - but setting up an award just to win it myself seemed kind of awkward.
There are plenty of great prizes, so at least one person from each start will be getting something!
